Will there be parking available for Sunderland Illuminations? There is no parking available in the streets surrounding the event. Limited pay and display parking is available at Marine Walk car parks.
How long are Roker lights on for?
The event returns to its home of Roker Park on Thursday, October 14, and will run every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Saturday, November 13. It will also run every day throughout the October half term week which starts of October 25 and is set to feature a mix of lighting features old and new.

There will be no tickets for sale at the event site, and visitors should not travel to the event without a ticket. A small number of tickets will be on sale soon from Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens, Houghton Library and Washington Library.

Large bags and rucksacks will not be permitted to be brought in the ground under any circumstances, nor will supporters be permitted to store such items at the stadium. Small bags such as handbags will be allowed, however anyone carrying a bag is advised that it will be searched on entry.
