Can I use microG instead of Gapps?
A typical custom ROM comes without Google’s core apps (Gapps), but you would typically install the separate Gapps package to get them back. However, if you want more freedom and privacy, you would just skip the Gapps package and go with MicroG instead.
How do I flash GApps without TWRP?
Gapps can be flashed using flashing apps such as Flashify, Rashr, etc.. But the require root to use the apps, otherwise, it won’t actually flash the file. You must log in or register to reply here.
Can I install different GApps?
Yes definitely you can. Make sure you clean flash it. or else you will end up corrupting your OS. Flashing Gapps over preinstalled Gapps would just update those old Gapps lying on your phone. So Enjoy and Flash.

- Step 1: Uninstall Playstore updates of Google Apps.
- Step 2: Go to /system/addon.d folder and delete all the scripts that starts with “51-“
- Step 3: Dirty flash Rom.
- Step 4: Flash newer version of NikGapps.
