I stopped at Maumee State Park for a walk and to check out the birds in the early afternoon in mid-July. I walked the boardwalk and along the lake. I did not realize how extensive the boardwalk system is…nearly two miles. Lots of great chances to see birds and meander through habitat that is hard to get to unless you are above it.
