Should I Bring My Own Helmet? We provide all of the equipment you’ll need. We have helmets in various sizes at no charge, so there’s no need to bring your own. However, if you do have your own helmet, you are welcome to wear it.

Yes, K1 Speed serves alcohol at most of its locations. However, K1 Speed maintains a strict anti-drinking and driving policy at all of our locations. If you wish to enjoy an alcoholic beverage, you must do so only after you have finished racing for the day – not in-between races.

How do you dress for a go kart?

Wear comfortable clothing that you can feasibly sit and stretch in – nothing too loose or that you’d be precious about getting mucky, just simple jeans and a T-shirt will do. Trainers are the best footwear for racing in – you won’t be allowed to race in anything with an open toe or heels.

Due to COVID-19 closing down the entertainment center last March, Mountasia’s owners were forced to sell their business after not being able to make ends meet.

Racing go-karts under the influence of alcohol will impair your ability to gauge depths and distances accurately. It also causes blurry vision and messes with your color perception. Additionally, it also slows down your reaction time and in critical moments renders you unable to react in time.

Do you get dirty go karting?

You will be provided with a freshly laundered fire resistant overall as standard issue to protect your clothing so don’t worry about anything getting dirty. If you bring your own overall this must be fire resistant.
