Ferra and Torr are a symbiote pairing consisting respectively of a young female rider and a giant masked brute, and were found wandering the Tarkatan wastelands before being made to serve as new Outworld emperor Kotal Kahn’s personal bodyguards. They are of an Outworld species in which the rider bonds with its mount.

Your main goal with Ferra/Torr should be to use Bowl Girl or Ferra Toss to open up your opponent and knock them to the ground. If they have meter, you can try to bait out a wake-up attack. If not, continue to apply pressure.

Why is Goro not in mk11?
Goro was a pre-order bonus/ DLC character in MKX but he hasn’t returned in MK 11. He had no part in the story of Mortal Kombat 10 so it would make little sense to reintroduce him as a main character at this point. Fans will simply have to deal without their 500-year-old prince.
