Levi’s® introduced the 501s® Student Fit in the 1980s. This cut was designed for younger men who were in between boys’ and men’s sizes. Ideal for guys with slimmer builds, they’re narrower in the hips and thighs than the 501® Original. Inspired by the 501® Original, but slimmer.
Do Levi 501 run small?
One important note on these jeans: they run VERY small. Like I said above, I typically wear a 26 in most other denim brands, and a 27 in the other Levi’s styles I own but I wear a 28 in these. So I would suggest going up two sizes… which seems crazy, but trust me on this one!
