What is a NuTone system?

The NuTone NM100-series retrofit intercom system replaces any old intercom system that has 3 or 4 wires. This retrofit system can accommodate up to 15 room stations and three door stations. The system has two inputs for audio devices and a built-in AM/FM radio.

How do I connect my nutone Bluetooth speaker?

Install 2-AAA batteries into included remote. Pair the wall control with the ChromaComfortTM fan grille: Turn on power to ChromaComfortTM fan and (within 3 minutes) press & hold “White Light On/Off” button for at least 5 seconds. Grille will flash white light to confirm that grille and control are paired.

Can you upgrade old home intercom system?

Yes, in most cases. Most intercoms systems installed in the last 30 years can be repaired as long as parts are available. (Most stay in production for 15-20 years) We can also upgrade to retro-fit to a newer system utilizing the old wiring.

Does NuTone still make intercom systems?

How do old intercom systems work?

Intercom systems come in several types. They can be powered by being hardwired into your home, plugging into an AC outlet in the wall, or they can be battery operated. Systems that use wall outlets or batteries require little technical skill to remove, while systems that are hardwired-in may be more complex.

Why does my intercom keep beeping?

The unit powers up but there is a beeping coming from the intercom. This means that the unit is not able to detect the network for some reason (see the video above for the normal way it should power up). Make sure the SIM card is properly locked in and seated as shown in the pictures below.
