I’m glad that you like Overwolf, and you are right – Overwolf doesn’t have Mac and Linux supported versions. Unfortunately, supporting these OSs is not on our roadmap as for now. But it might be in the future.

Why did Overwolf install itself?
The overlay is automatically installed when you install Overwolf in order to get the Curseforge program. Doesn’t matter if you put any Overwolf Apps on it or not it is there. As a matter of fact, it is always running on your computer!
