Our minimum-time student members commit to serving 300 hours during an academic year in self-help centers. In return, they receive approximately 40 hours of training as well as an education award when they complete the program.
What is bay area JusticeCorps?
JusticeCorps members will be trained to provide legal information to self–represented litigants to assist them with resolving important legal matters. JusticeCorps members assist litigants by helping them prepare court paperwork, by making referrals, or through assistance at legal information workshops.

What is a justicecorps graduate fellow?
JusticeCorps Graduate Fellows commit to serve 1,700 hours over one year, and receive a $28,000 Living Allowance and healthcare benefits. Fellows provide direct service to litigants and act as team leads and mentors for the Student Members with whom they serve. JusticeCorps Fellows must be college graduates.
