Is Elder Sign a good game?
Elder Sign is my group’s favorite Lovecraft game. It is also one of my group’s favorite cooperative dice rolling games. It can be quite difficult, but we pretty much always have a blast regardless of the outcome. This is a game that everyone should at least try, especially if you’re a fan of dice rolling games.
Is Elder Sign good solo?
Because Elder Sign is a cooperative game with no hidden information, it is very easy to solo. I recommend controlling at least two investigators in order to take advantage of special abilities. As I have noted before on this blog, Elder Sign is a game beloved by many, but it falls flat for me.
