What do you think of tea at the Brown?

Tea at the Brown is an annual tradition for our family. We always enjoy every aspect of the experience. It would be nice to have one more selection for the finger foods/sandwiches w/ a whole grain bread, perhaps a chicken or veggie curry, or even a vegan offering, for example. Other than this idea, it’s always WONDERFUL.

In my experience, “high tea” is a hot, hearty working class evening meal that would be the main evening meal, what we call dinner here in the US, while dainty sandwiches and petit fours are typical of “Afternoon tea”, a light snack served earlier than High Tea, and originating among the upper classes.
