1. Water + a bit of vinegar in a bowl.
2. Soak a paper towel in it – take it out & wring the paper towel (you want damp – not soaking)
3. Microwave a few seconds to warm the wet paper towel (just get it warm to the touch, not hot)
4. Lay the damp paper towel over the headstock about 45-60 minutes.
5. Remove paper towel.
