In the episode “Love’s Labours Lost in Space”, Nibbler was discovered on Vergon 6 and is, indeed, collected by Planet Express, with Leela adopting him as a pet.

What did Nibbler poop?
Dark Matter is a substance of which little is known. In scientific terms, dark matter refers to matter undetectable through electromagnetic interactions, meaning that it can’t reflect light and thus is invisible. In Futurama, it is used as a starship fuel, which Nibblonians excrete.
Why is Fry immune to brains?
The Nibblonians explain that because Fry lacks the delta brainwave on account of his being his own grandfather (seen in “Roswell That Ends Well”), he was immune to the attack of the Brainspawn a few months prior (seen in “The Day the Earth Stood Stupid”).
Was Nibbler in the original pilot?
Nibbler was introduced early in the series and was already designed at the time that the pilot was created. They didn’t yet know how they would use the shadow, but they wanted things they could call back to that fans could spot ahead of time. They talk about this in the commentary.

Fry is a “Mighty One”, the only person on Earth who can help the Nibblonians save the entire universe from the evil Brain Spawn, and they therefore choose to freeze him in the year 1999, so that he can be alive and help when needed in the future.

Leela’s full name is Turanga Leela but “Turanga” is considered her family name (or surname). Similar to some Asian traditions, the family name comes first then the individual’s first name. This is supported by her parents’ being given as Turanga Morris (father) and Turanga Munda (mother).
Why was Fry frozen?
Fry is sent back to 1999 by the Brain Spawn to stop Nibbler from freezing him, but Nibbler persuades Fry to allow himself to be frozen to save Leela’s life, as no one would be able to stop the Brain Spawn from destroying the universe in the future. Fry pushes himself into the cryotube to save the world.

In 3009, Hutch lived in an alley in Mars Vegas and was stumbled upon by Fry, as the latter was running away from the Wong Hotel & Casino with voices in his head (caused by Frida’s jewelry being lodged in Fry’s brain). Hutch gave Fry his tin foil hat and explained that Fry, like Hutch, was a mind reader.
How did Fry become Lars?
While in his house, Bender arrives and destroys the building he lives in. In the process Fry loses his hair, and his larynx is damaged by the smoke from the fire. As he looks in the mirror and the picture of Leela and Lars, he realises that he himself is Lars.
