I spoke with a supervisor and found out that CarTrawler is in Dublin, Ireland. No wonder my credit card company rejected the charge. These idiots couldn’t call me when the charge was rejected and resolve the issue.
Is there a way to change rating on CarTrawler?
Rating is 0 stars actually, but there’s no such option. CarTrawler is really a NO-GO with fraudulent business practices, no email nor phone contact and an apparent available chat that doesn’t work at all. You have no way to change, cancel or simply make any inquiry to them.
Do you use CarTrawler as a third party?
Without going into boring detail. I booked my car through Alaska Airlines who uses CarTrawler as their third party. DO NOT make the mistake of doing the same thing! The time I have spent to cancel my reservation and get a refund is ridiculous. I certainly hope Alaska Airlines rethinks their use of them as their third party.
Is CarTrawler a scam or legit?
SCAM. The car company will not honor your voucher, unless you pay extra for some fee (i.e. insurance). when you refuse to pay and ask for a refund, CarTrawler will find some unrelated fine print not to refund you. TOTAL RACKET!

Is CarTrawler a good company to rent a car?
This company is absolutely terrible. Do not do business with these yahoos. I reserved a car through Alaska Airlines (on the Alaska Airlines reservation web site) and they connect you to CarTrawler. I was making a last minute reservation at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport Thursday for a Friday rental car pick-up. I made the reservation at 3:30PM.
