Why is it called Predator Ridge?
Predator Ridge is the reference to the height of land between Kalamalka and Okanagan lake. This region is home to many birds of prey and raptors, including eagles, osprey, kestrels, peregrine falcons, red tail and cooper hawks and several owl species. The abundance of these beautiful predators gave this land its name!
Who built Predator Ridge?
The community was acquired by Wesbild Holdings Ltd in 2007. Opened in 1991, Predator Ridge hosted the British Columbia Open in 1993. The original two nine-hole loops, designed by Les Furber, were named after resident birds of prey: The Osprey and The Red Tail….Predator Ridge Resort.

How long does it take to play Predator Ridge?
The round took us 5 hours, which is unacceptable. We had 4 groups in front of us that had booked through their event coordinator. The way in which the group in front of us handled themselves was inappropriate for any golf course, especially for one that we paid high dollar for.
