The basic measurements are as follows: barrel length is 3.1 inches. The gun stands 4.6 inches tall, 0.95 inches wide and is 6.1 inches long.
Is the Springfield XDS 9mm a good gun?
In a family of sub-compact pistols, this option is the durable but slightly overweight option. Ultimately, the XDS is a well constructed pistol designed to go places that full size options can’t. If you are fine with the unique features of the Springfield XDS, this may be a good carry option for you.
What is the difference between the XD-s and the shield?
The trigger safety is different for each gun; the Shield has a hinged trigger whereas the XD-S has a split trigger much like certain Austrian pistols that will go unmentioned. You’ll find which you prefer.
