What is HHA membership?

A Historic Houses membership permits free entry to about 320 participating properties, a quarterly magazine called “Historic House”, and special access to exclusive tours. Membership is valid for 12 months from purchase and you can get a discount for paying by direct debit.

You can walk around the deer park and along the 7 bridges walk for free. You pay to go into Fountains Abbey, again free for NT members.

Do you have to pay to go to Studley Royal?

Studley Royal is a pay and display car park. Parking is free if you are a member of the National Trust. We’d love it if you’d take a minute to scan your membership card though – every time you do we earn a £1 donation towards the conservation work we do here.
