Grip fill would be fine, or fix all,anything like that, even expanding foam would do the job I would think, I’ve used tile adhesive for plaster coving but not sure on the adhesion quality to polyurethane, though I would think it would be fine. Tack a few nails in to support the coving while it goes off.
