How do you reinforce holes in paper?
How do you reinforce holes in paper?
You can use tape — masking tape, clear tape, patterned duct tape — along the margin of the paper. Holes punched in the taped area are not likely to rip through. As a caution, you need to know that this solution may gum up your hole punch depending on the tape you use.
What is a paper reinforcement?
Reinforced paper is simply regular paper that has a 9/16” polyester strip down one side. This strip makes the paper perfect for use in three-ring binders and bound documents because the polyester makes it difficult for the pages to be accidentally torn out.
Do you put hole reinforcements on both sides?
The ends of these strips can be cut if they’re too long to fit on other sheet protectors. These can be applied on top of previous reinforcement strips. You can also put them on the opposite side from existing reinforcements.
What is a reinforcement label?
Reinforcement label rings are ideal for reinforcing or repairing punched holes in binder paper. Self-adhesive clear rings reinforce without covering up information and are made of a poly-vinyl material.
What do reinforcement labels do?
Regularly flipping through the pages of your binder makes its rings chafe the holes cut into the sheets. These specialty labels can also strengthen ripped holes in spiral-bound notebook pages. Staples carries a good selection of such reinforcement stickers from Avery and other office supplies brands.
Do Discbound notebooks fall apart?
I’ve used discbound systems for 4 years, and have never had anything fall out. If you put too many pages on the discs, the pages will start to pop out as you turn the planner, but even then they won’t just randomly fall out.
Is TUL better than arc?
TUL has more accessories, disc colors, disc sizes, interchangeable covers and refill pages. There’s much more variety than the ARC so if I lived in the USA and used their page sizes, I would choose the TUL over the ARC. If you live in the UK or Australia, I recommend the ARC. If you’re in the USA, I would use the TUL.
Is Arc and TUL compatible?

Did Staples discontinue arc?
I am sorry you feel this way, A lot of our ARC range has been discontinued over time. I do apologise about that. You can buy the ARC hole punch, this will allow you to add your own paper in to there with the correct holes punched via the ARC hole puncher. You will be creating your own ARC paper in a sense.
