Are Cobra woods any good?
Are Cobra woods any good?
Our take: It’s our favorite Cobra fairway wood this year. We found it to be forgiving, easy to hit and workable—which for the better player is the holy trinity when it comes to a fairway wood. It’s long too, thanks to driver-like technologies that boost ballspeed for longer shots both off the tee and from the fairway.

Is the Cobra 3-wood adjustable?
The Cobra Bio Cell 3-wood is fully adjustable from a 13* 3-wood to a 16* 4-wood with 8 total settings. I went with the 14.5* loft in a neutral setting. It gave me a very pleasing trajectory that was fairly piercing, but still reached a high apex mid flight.

When should I use 3 wood or 5 wood?
Should You Get A 3 Or 5 Wood? The majority of golfers will hit more fairways and greens with a 5 wood compared to a 3 wood. A 5 wood has a slightly shorter shaft and more loft, and because of that, it makes it much easier to hit from the fairway.

For average golfers, adding 5 wood to the bag will perform better than having 3 wood. The increased loft and shorter shaft length will hit the ball almost as far but will hit more fairways and greens in regulation.

What is the Cobra King RADSPEED 3-wood?
The Cobra King RADSPEED 3-wood has a larger footprint, but still thin and well hidden, especially in the matte peacoat (navy blue) finish. It is one of the nicest looking 3-woods to boot. The size means the weight can get shifted to the back for easy launch and maximum forgiveness.
What do you like most about the Cobra fairway woods?
My favorite feature of Cobra fairway woods is the rails. The RADSPEED 3-wood has hollow rails that glide nicely along the ground. Instead of having them hold the weight like some previous models, they made them hollow and redistributed the weight in the head to better optimize the CG.
What are the different colors of the Cobra clubs available?
You have the option of four different colors (silver, red, orange, and blue) that are brighter than most options offered by other OEM. They don’t feel distasteful, but they are certainly not for the traditionalists. The best part of the club’s appearance is the light snake skin pattern on the crown of the club. This is a great touch in person.
